work on a PC. Unfortunately we can not all be blessed with a mac. But i recently purchased the LaCie rugged external hard drive…and it works perfectly with my mac…and anyone elses mac. But..say if I try to put it into my girlfriends laptop or my bud’s PC…nothing will show up. It will say that something has showed up and is installing the drive or whatever….but nothing will show up..
if you could help…it would be greatly appreciated.

I set the preferences to use the function keys as standard function keys, with the ability to press control+f5 to go to the address bar in safar. It worked for a bit, but not now. It just highlights the back button (the arrown at the top left of the screen). What am I missing?

This didn’t used to happen, but recently, iChat has been opening after I unsleep my computer. I leave the application running always, so it’s not that it launches. The problem is that it unhides itself. Does anyone know how to stop this?

I’m mac ignorant so forgive me. I support the only mac on our windows network. Recently ip settings changed and we had to reconfigure the proxy/firewall on this computer. When the updater launched for safari it asked for a pw which was successfully entered and the updater launched and updated. Later the same day updater launched for another app and it asked for a pw and the pw that worked earlier would not work and neither would any other pw associated with the machine. any ideas and help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks,
Phil
