PHP Expert - Need A Partner

Thursday Nov 20, 2008
Hello, I’ve been on here quite a while, but I’m looking for the most elusive animal ever. That’s right, I’m seeking a reliable, affordable, proficient PHP developer. Does this animal exist? Have you seen one? Can you point me in the right direction?

My preference is someone local to me, or at least in the US, but quality is much more important to me, as is reliability, and speed. We’re quoting new projects every day, and we need someone we can rely on. I’d prefer someone I could partner with, and build a business.

Main focus will be ecommerce and development for the Pinnacle Cart shopping cart system.

Please let me know if you are aware of this animal and if they are available for consistent work.

Has the lousy economy hit us or am I a moron and missing something basic (or not so basic)?

I understand that there is more I can do from an SEO perspective but that is not my current concern. We’ve been selling online since 1997, have a good core of repeat customers and generally steady sales. On November 15th, our site was down for 12 hours (another story) and since then we haven’t had one sale. Nothing I can see has changed as far as our site goes, although it now seems a little slow. Keyword positioning has not measurably changed and visitors are up from a week ago.

Can anyone see the problem(s)? Or, anyone in retail (or with customers in retail) seeing similar sales drop off?

Thank you for your help.

wholesale screen printing site

Thursday Nov 20, 2008
Hey all.

Been working on gpx screenprinting for a bit, and am looking for some feedback, mainly in the SEO department.

Just wondering how the experts feel about the on-page SEO work. Everything seem okay? ‘Screen printing’ itself is a very competitive term, but i think we’ve got a bit of a niche with the ‘wholesale’ and ‘contract’ approach.

I’m building the gpx embroidery sister site once i’ve got this one all set up as a template.

Also looking for general feedback on design, coding, etc.

NOTE:
homepage content will be changed once I have final copy from business owner.

Meta Tags

I have a website that I’ve tried to optimize myself, my problem is that I have duplicate title and keyword tags on every page, because I don’t know how to make them unique for each page, I just added the tags on the header which makes them appear on everypage. I’m afraid I’ll get penalized for having so many duplicate tags, or that the website will never be as competitive due to this issue. Does anyone know what I need to do?
Website is Gia’s Wedding Store Home Page, Wedding Accessories, Wedding Party Favors, Wedding Gifts

Add on domains, shared server, .htaccess and traffic etc.

1. Introduction

I have three hosters with different solutions. On my relatively expensive, I have a unigue IP for two .no sites. This post is not about them. In addition I have a

2. Shared server solution.

Add on domains on my .htaccess Ip blocked extranet http://www.forumnorway.com/

Example of how that is configured:

  • One add on site DinNettAvis, norske og utenlandske nyheter døgnet rundt Ip block on main domain deleted by allowing all Ip’s in local .htaccess. That implies that the Ip block on the main domain is overwritten.
  • Server configuration: FTP host - dinnettavis.forumnorway.com Own FTP password.

3. A differently shared server solution.

Main domain: Kjell Bleivik

4. Questions.

  1. How bad are these configurations for
    - traffic
    - Ad Sense Ad’s
  2. Do you see any penalties related to the configuration?
